    Yo need to use discriminant

    for ax²+bx+c=0

    the discriminat is b²-4ac

    if the discriminant is

    1. less than 0, then 0 real solutions

    2. equal to 0, then 1 real solutions

    3. if more than 0, then 2 real solutions

    given

    6x²-2x+7=0

    a=6

    b=-2

    c=7

    (-2) ²-4 (6) (7)

    4-168

    we can see this is less than 0

    no real solutions
