Sharon mistakenly calculated the marginal relative frequency for traveling out of state to be 57 out of 100 or 57%. What should Sharon have done, and what is the correct answer?

    Well first off we need to find the marginal relative frequency of the kids out of state. So we need the formula for marginal relative frequency

    Marginal relative frequency / total size of sample

    57 / 152 = 0.375

    Answer: 37.5%
