The price of an apple is 1.25$. If you get 20% discount, how much do you have to pay?

    So you would have 1.25 x 20 / 100. Then by solving the multiplication you have 25 / 100. Then divide.

    You get the amount saved, which is. 25.

    That means that you only have to pay $1.00.
