The ratio is 3 to 3 to 10. We can translate this to algebra with a replacement that the 3 people each donate 3x, 3x, and 10x dollars respectively. Adding these 3 variables together, we get that the total collected is 16x dollars, which is equal to 80 dollars. Therefore, each unit x donation from each person is 5 dollars. Therefore, the two people that donated the same amount would have donated 15 dollars each (3x = 3 * 5). The largest donation of 10x = 5*10 = 50 dollars is 50 - 15 = 35 dollars larger than the smaller donations.
