What is the area of a regular hexagon with an apothem 8.7 yards and a side 10 yards long

    Hello,

    Forget the apothem (it is false)

    The hexagon is composed of 6 isocele triangles having like base 10 and as height=√ (10²-5²) = √75=5√3

    The area of one triangle is 10*5√3/2=25√3

    6 triangles:150*√3=212,13203 ... (yd²)
