Find the smaller consecutive integers if the sun is smaller and twice the larger is - 4

    Let the intgers be n and n+1. Then:-

    n + 2 (n + 1) = - 4

    3n + 2 = - 4

    3n = - 6

    n = - 2

    Smallest integer is - 2.
