For a circle of radius 2 feet, find the arc length s subtended by a central angle of 54 degrees.

    R = 2 ft; α = 54°

    s = (r π α) / 180°

    s = (2 π 54°) / 180°

    s = 108° π / 180°

    s = 0.6 π ft

    or: s = 0.6 · 3.14 = 1.884 ft
