    P1=30mi/h+p2 or y=30+x

    540+495=1035 miles in total

    speed = distance/time

    x+y=1035

    y=30+x

    x + (30+x) = 1035

    2x=1035-30

    2x=1005

    x = 502.5 mile per hour speed of plane 2

    y = 30+502.5=532.5 speed of plane 1
