The rec center has two payment choices. Plan A is $35 per month for unlimited visits. Plan B is $15 per month plus $2 per visit. If Nichole will go to the rec center 8 times a month, which is the cheaper plan for her? How much will it cost?

Plan A : $ 35 per month, unlimited visits

Plan B : $ 15 + 2x ... x being the number of visits

so Plan A will cost $ 35 for 8 visits

Plan B will cost : 15 + 2 (8) = 15 + 16 = $ 31

so Plan B will be cheaper for 8 visits ... and that will cost her $ 31

Plan B becuase if you multiply 2 by 8 visits you get 16, and then add 15 down for that and you get 31. So 31 is less than 35 and that will be the better deal.
