How many different computer passwords are possible if each consists of 4 symbols, and if the first one must be a letter and the other 3 must be digits?

    There are 26 possible letters and 10P3 digits (if all the digits must be different)

    = 26 * 10! / 7! = 26 * 720 = 18,720
