    616 nails

    Step-by-step explanation:

    No. of nail box bought = 44

    No. of nail in each box = 56.

    Total no of nail in 44 box = No. of nail box bought * No. of nail in each box

    = 44 * 56 = 2,464

    These nails were distributed in 4 houses equally.

    Let no. of nail distributed in 1 houses be x.

    Thus, total nails distributed in 4 houses equally = 4x.

    These 4x nail should be equal to Total no of nail in 44 box

    4x = 2464

    => x = 2464/4 = 616

    Thus, each house would get 616 nails.
