A total of 5000 is invested part at 10% and the remainder at 15%. How much is invested at Each rate if the annual interest is $630?

    Answer:Let the amount invested in each be

    A and B

    A+B=5000

    0.1A+0.15B=630

    0.1 (5000-B) + 0.15B=630

    500-0.1B+0.15B=630

    0.05B=130

    B=2600

    A=2400
