The answer is m = - 2
Start by distributing the - 6 to the m and 1
So then it would be
24 = - 6m-6+18
Then add the - 6 and 18
So now it's
24 = - 6m + 12
Then you'd subtract the 12 from both sides
12 = - 6m
Now divide both sides by - 6
m = - 2
