Diana is looking for a dining location for a private party. The cost at Paolo's Restaurant is found by the expression

250+25g where g is the number of guests. The cost at Dave's Place is found by the expression 100+45g, where g

is the number of guests. Diana says that the less expensive restaurant for the party will be Dave's Place. Is she correct? Explain why or why not, showing work to justify your response.

    She is wrong because Dave's restaurant is more expensive

    You have to put a number into the formula to work out if its true

    Let's say you change g to 10 guests

    Diana's one would be 250+250=500

    Dave's one would be 100+450=550

    This means that she is wrong because it would be an extra 50 for Dave's place.
