Solve the equation for y.
5x - 7y = 10

So the only way to do this is to set the equation = to y
so
5x-7y=10
add 7y to both sides
5x=7y+10
subtract 10 from both sides
5x-10=7x
divide both sides by 7
(5x-10) / 7=y
