    The number of apples in bag 12 is 96.

    Explanation:

    Given that, there are 12 bags of apples on a market stall.

    The mean number of apples in each bag is 8.

    We have to calculate the number of apples in the 12 bag.

    The mean of "n" observations is given as

    mean on n observations = sum of observations / n

    here in the problem

    8 = sum of observations/12

    total number of apples = 8*12 = 96

    Hence, there are 96 apples in 12 bags.
