Explain weather the associative property and commutative property are true for division for division of integers. Support your reasoning with an example.

    Associative is not true for division.

    Example: (12 : 3) : 4 = 1

    12 : (3 : 4) = 16

    1 ≠ 16

    Commutative is not true for division

    8 : 4 = 2

    2 : 8 =.25

    2 ≠.25
