    No. of boys = 7x

    No. of girls = 2x

    7x - 2x = 70

    5x = 70

    x = 70/5

    x = 14

    No. of boys = 7x = 7*14 = 98

    No. of girls = 2x = 2*14 = 28

    Total = 98 + 28 = 126
