Hey, can you factor completely 6x^2+11x-10 as (6x-4) (x-15/6) ?

I know the proper way is (3x-2) (2x+5) but i did it this way and want to know if it is correct.

The answer to your question is below

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Factor completely 6x² + 11x - 10

    1. - Multiply 6 by - 10 = - 60

    2. - Find the prime factors of - 60

    -60 2

    -30 2

    -15 3 60 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 5

-5 5 Combine these numbers so, if add them up give + 11

    -1 and if multiply equals - 60.

    These numbers are + 15 and - 4

Instead of writing + 11x, in the original equation, write,

    + 15x - 4x.

    6x² - 4x + 15x - 10 Factorize like terms

    2x (3x - 2) + 5 (3x - 2) Factorize like terms

    (3x - 2) (2x + 5).

    Sorry, I could not get (6x - 4) (x - 15/6)
