Plane A leaves Portland at 2:15 pm, averaging 300 mph and flying due north. Plane B leaves Portland at 2:45 pm, averaging 345 mph and flying due east. At 5:15 pm, how far apart will the planes be? Use the Pythagorean theorem to solve and round your answer to the nearest tenth.
