A slice of pizza has an area of 13.5 sq inches. If the pizza has a radius of 9 inches, how many pizza slices make up the whole pie?

    First find the area of the whole circle using the formula pi x r^2:

    3.14 x 9 x 9 =

    254.34

    Then, divide 254,34 by 13.5 to get the number of slices:

    254.34/13.5 =

    18.84

    That's approximately 19 slices.
