Step-by-step explanation:
y=x²-2x-1
and y=-3x+5
x²-2x-1=-3x+5
x²+x-6=0
x²+3x-2x-6=0
x (x+3) - 2 (x+3) = 0
(x+3) (x-2) = 0
x=-3,2
when x=-3
y=-3*-3+5=9+5=14
when x=2
y=-3*2+5=-6+5=-1
so solutions are (-3,14) and (2,-1)
