Type A is 6 feet tall and grows at a rate of 12 inches per year.

Type B is 2 feet tall and grows at a rate of 24 inches per year.

Algebraically determine exactly how many years it will take for these trees to be the same height.

    72 + 12x = 24 + 24x

    48 = 12x

    4 = x

    It'll take 4 years.
