A purse contains $2.45 in dimes and quarter. There are two more than twice as many dimes as quarters. How many of each coin on the purse. (Álgebra 1 price per unit problem)

    The quarters have to be a odd number or you wouldn't have the 5 at the end of the number. Because there are "two more then twice as many" dimes then quarters the number of quarters has to stay down. 3 to 5 is a good guess to start. from there you can add up the dimes until it all fits together
