On the first day of the food drive Mrs. teasley class brought in 6 can of 4 can of bean 7 box of noodles and 4can of soup find the ratio of can of fruit to the total number of food items collected then explains it meaning

    There is 14 cans total. 6 cans of fruit.

    the first ratio would be 6:14 given that there is 6 cans of fruit to every 14 cans

    though when you simplify it would be 3:7. If you divide by 2 on both numbers.

    answer: 3:7
