    area=144 ft²

    Step-by-step explanation:

    width=x

    length=4x

    perimeter=2 (4x+x)

    60=2 (5x)

    60/2=5x

    30=5x

    x=30/5

    =6

    width=6 ft

    length = 4 (6)

    =24 ft

    area = length * width

    =6*24

    =144 ft²
