about 105 rivets to build 2200 ft of the bridge.

    Step-by-step explanation:

first i found out how many rivets it took to build one ft of the bridge.

i divided 42 by 2 to get how many rivets it took to build one ft. i got (21)

    21 rivets for 1 ft

    next i divided 2200 ft by 21 rivets (2200:21) = 104.76

    104.76 rounded is 105
