a dog weights two ponds less than three times the weight of a cat. the dog also weights twenty two pounds than the cat. write and solve an equation to find the weights of the dog and the cat.

    So if the dog is 22 pounds and weighs three times as much with two subtracted it would be 22-2 which is 20 then that divided by 3 because that's much more it is and it's around 6.6
