Now think is there anything that 2 and 4 can both be divided by. The answer is yes! They can both be divided by 2. So divide them both by 2. 2 divided by 2 is 1, and 4 divided by 2 is 2. So your answer becomes 1/2, or one half. There is nothing else they can both be divided by so that's your final answer.
