Which function is linear? y = 1 / (x + 2) y = x + 2 y = 1/x + 2 y = (x + 2) / (x - 2)

    Linear functions are the ones whose graph is a straight line. So if you graph all the answers into desmos you will see which ones are not linear.

    y=x+2 is linear.

    y=1 / (x+2) is the same as y=1/x+2 and those are rational functions
