    x=-6

    Step-by-step explanation:

    *instead of doing a bunch of subtraction make it + (-#) you'll see what i mean

    3 (x - 3) - (6x - 3) = 4 (3)

    first do distributive property and figure out the easy stuff:

    3x + (-9) + (-6x) + 3=12

    then you add 3x and 6x while also adding 9+3

    -3x + (-6) = 12

    add + 6 to both sides

    -3x=18

    then divide by - 3

    x=-6
