take the denominator (bottom part of fraction) and multiply that by the whole number (the large number beside fraction) then add the numerator to the product of those two numbers
Step-by-step explanation:
example: 2 3/5
so multiply 5 times 2
that would be 10 then add the 3 to 10 and you get 13/5

let's use 3 2/7 as an example
to turn it into a fraction, multiply 3 by the denominator (7) and add it to the numerator (2) so it would be 23/7
