    Total he earns in 8 2/5 weeks=$680.40

    Step-by-step explanation:

Reynolds paints 45 yards in 1 week, the number of yards he paints in 8 2/5 is expressed as = The average number of yards he paints in a week*number of weeks he paints = (8 2/5) * 45 = (42/5) * 45=378 yards

He gets paid $0.60 per foot

    1 yard=3 feet

Convert 378 yards to feet = 378*3=1134 feet

Total amount he earns = (Number of feet painted*cost per foot)

    Total amount he earns = (1134*0.6) = $680.40
