Alex and Leandro purchase two matinee movie tickets. A matinee ticket costs, a drink costs, and a bag of popcorn costs. Define each variable and write an algebraic expression to describe how much they spend based on the number of drinks and bags of popcorn they buy.

    Answer: (2p + 1.5d) + (5 * (2)) = T

    Popcorn = $2

    T = total
