A circle has an area of 45.4 square meters. What is the length of the radius and diameter?

    Area = pi x radius^2

    45.4 = 3.14 x radius^2

    radius^2 = 45.4 / 3.14 = 14.46

    radius = sqRoot (14.46) = 3.8 meters

    diameter = 2 * radius = 3.8 x 2 = 7.6 meters
