If the x intercept of a line is positive and the y intercept is negative, does the line slant upward or downward from left to right?

    The line would slant upward to the right because if the y-intercept is negative, the line starts below the x-axis and if the x-intercept is positive it means that the line continued from below the x-axis and cross to the right of the origin (to the right of 0), meaning it is slanting upward to the right.
