Margin on 1 Magzine = (10%) (x) rupees = 0.1 x
Margin on 42 Magzines = 42 (0.1 x) = 4.2 x
Also
Let the Price of 1 books = y
Margin on 1 Book = (15%) (y) rupees = 0.15 y
Margin on 14 Books = 14 (0.15 x) = 2.1 y
Basic Pay of Adam = 200
Amount that Adam earned last week = 200 + 4.2 x + 2.1 y
