sister - - - x

ratio- - 4:3 so difference is 3 years

4-3- - 1 1--3

five years ago - - - sister : 3*3--9 brother : 4*3--12

present : sister 14 years and brother 17 years old

4x - 3x = 3

x = 3

They were 12 & 9.

Add 5 to that.
