    a) y = 28x + 20

    b) Plug in 188 for y and solve algebraically:

    188 = 28x + 20

    subtract 20 from both sides

    168 = 28x

    divide 28 from both sides

    6 = x

    6 people went to the game.

    28*6=188 if you include the cost of parking, which is 20.
