    The coordinates would be (-3,-12)

To do this you need to substitute in x for - 3 in the equation. y = 5 (-3) + 3 now multiply to get a more simplified equation which will be y=-15+3 now add and it will leave you with y=-12. Since x equals - 3 and y equals - 12 the coordinates would be (-3,-12).
