A recipe calls for 1 3/4 of brown sugar. If i am only making 3/4 of the recipe, how much brown sugar should i use?

    Multiply 1 3/4 by 3/4 * a tip I use to know to multiply is that it says 3/4 OF the recipe, of means multiply*

    1 3/4 = 7/4 x 3/4 = 21/16 = 1 5/6

    I don't know if this is right, sorry
