    57 Square Feet

    Step-by-step explanation:

First, we determine the area of the parallelogram shaped parking space.

Area of a Parallelogram = base X Perpendicular Height

    = 17X9=153 Square feet.

Next, we determine the area of the car packed on the space.

The space where the car is packed is 16 feet long and 6 feet wide.

    This suggests a rectangular shape.

    Area of the Packed Car

    Length X Breadth=16X6 = 96 Square feet.

Finally, we determine the area of the packing space not covered by the car.

Area not covered=Area of Parking Space - Area Covered by the Car

    =153-96

    =57 Square Feet
