First line up the decimals
3.77
x 2.8
Starting on the right, multiply each digit in the top number by each digit in the bottom number. The same as how you would do it with whole numbers
3.77
x 2.8
3016
7540
Add the products
3016+7540=10556
Count the number of decimal places there are and place them into the answer (aka 10556)
