The scale factor of two similar solids is 3:7. What is the ratio of their corresponding areas?

    Note, if you have a linear scale, then the surface will be the square of this scale & for the volume will be the cube of the linear, so the linear scale = 3/7,

    then the ratio of the corresponding area will be 3²/7² = 9/49
