Mike is buying a snow mobile he is trying to rent one out so it is easier for him to get through the snow. The first snowmobile he looked at was $500 for 100 days. The second snowmobile he looked at was $450 for 150 days. What is the better deal for mike?

    The better deal for Mike would be the second snowmobile offer.

    Reason:

    First, we must find out how much each snowmobile cost for one day. To do that you simply have to divide the cost of the snowmobile by the price.

    First offer - $500 / 100 days = $5 per day

    Second offer - $450 / 150 days = $3 per day

    As we can see, it is cheaper to rent the second snowmobile and you are able to keep it for a longer amount of days.
