    the value of x is 13cm

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Hexagon has six (6) sides

    Perimeter = Sum of all sides of the hexagon

    144 = (x-5) + (2x) + (2x) + (2x+7) + (2x) + (2x-1)

    144 = x - 5 + 2x + 2x + 2x + 7 + 2x + 2x - 1

    Collect like terms

    144 = 11x + 1

    143 = 11x

    143 / 11 = x

    x = 13cm
