    10m : 1h = 3m : x

    10x = 3

    x = 3/10

    x = 0.3 of an hour

    0.3 x 60 = 18 minutes

    3 miles/10 miles/hour = 0.3hours

    0.3 hours x 60 minutes/1 hour = 18 minutes

    If a man ran 10 mph, it would take him 18 minutes to run 3 miles.
