At the pet store the ratio of cats to dogs sold was 10:1. if there were 60 cats that were sold, how many dogs were sold?

    6 dogs were sold. For every 10 cats that were sold, one dog was sold. If 60 cats were sold, that means 6 dogs were sold (60/10 = 6)
