Write the equation for 5x + 2y = 3 in slope-intercept form.

    5x+2y=3

    -5x on both sides

    2y=3-5x

    divide by 2 on both sides

    y=3/2-5/2x

    rewrite in order (optional depending on teacher)

    y=-5/2x+3/2
