Take into account yards to feet conversion. One yard is equal to 3 feet. Convert your yards to feet by multiplying each measurement by 3. [2 x 3 = 6] and [3 x 3 = 9]. Your new area would be 6ft by 9ft. Each tile is 1ft by 1ft. To find the answer you'd simply take your sides and multiply. [6 x 9 = 54]. The answer is 54 tiles.
